Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization working in more than 40 countries in the fields of nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water sanitation and hygiene, and care practices. ACF is looking for its program in Jordan for HR Recruitment Officer
Work place: AmmanMonthly Basic Salary Range: 814 JODcontract length: 6 months renewable
Specific Objectives:
The HR recruitment Officer is responsible for supervising the recruitment quality control process, maintaining the mission recruitment tools up to date, for ensuring the smooth running of Amman office recruitments and supporting the mission on the administrative tasks related to recruitment.
Main ObjectivesMission 1: Supervise and control the recruitment quality:
Under the supervision of the HR HoD and in compliance with the organization policies in regards to recruitment the HR recruitment officer will:
- Ensure the systematic administration of survey after recruitment interview for each applicant and each position
- Ensure compilation of the results and timely reporting and response to complaint
- Ensure provision of recruitments statistics once a month
- Pro-actively identify & suggest continuous improvement efforts regarding the mission recruitment processes.
- Ensure regular check and routine verification of the mission recruitment files to ensure consistency of the filing, availability of the data and compliance to the mission practices and policies.
- Report timely any discrepancies on the check conducted for corrective actions.
- When required support the bases to compile the recruitment data.
- When required prepare recruitment files for Auditors purposes and track materials removed from files in order to ensure that borrowed files are returned
- Facilitate training related to recruitment to ensure consistency of quality practicesMission 2: Maintain the mission recruitment tools up to date:
Under the supervision of the HR HoD and in compliance with the organization policies in regards to recruitment the HR recruitment officer will:
- Ensure to maintain the organization recruitment roster up to date
- Ensure compilation of recruitment information and maintenance of up to date recruitment follow up tools
- Maintain an up to date recruitment documents template to be used on NAS (JD Library, templates, tests, interview grids, roster).Mission 3: Ensure the smooth running of Amman office recruitments
Under the supervision of the HR HoD and in compliance with the organization policies in regards to recruitment the HR recruitment officer will:
- Enable the management of human resources, establish and maintain transparent and objective systems that attract and retain talent.
- Long listings
- Inform nominated candidates of the different recruitment steps.
- Printing the interview records and Cv's to prepare it for the interview.
- Share the tests & interviews schedules with the HR Manager and with the line Manager.
- Support in interview for relevant levels
- Inform the nominated candidates of the interview result.
- Ensure completion of quality survey for Amman located interviews
- Prepare employment letters or any related letters to staff when needed.
- Inform the nominated candidates with the joining date and documents to be collected
- Ensure the completion of reference check process
- Inform timely the concerned department about the new arrivals for logistics and briefing purposes
- Collect and review all new hire paperwork & follow up and communicate to new hires on missing paperwork
- Introduce him/her to all Action Against Hunger staff.
- Prepare and support induction process: Schedule, update of the induction package, follow up of the completion of induction activities, facilitate induction presentations
- Participate in providing active support for developing and implementing Action Against Hunger’s induction documents and practices
- Maintain an efficient recruitment filing system (both hard and soft copies) to make updating and retrieving files easierMission 4: Support the mission on the administrative tasks related to recruitment:
Under the supervision of the HR HoD and in compliance with the organization policies in regards to recruitment the HR recruitment officer will:
- Ensure systematic circulation and posting of organization vacancies to all bases twice a month
- Be the focal point with our recruitment partners.
- Do the long listing for the ACF Jordan mission positions advertised within 24h following the request
- Ensure timely provision of updates tests and interviews validated by HoD
- Ensure the systematic sending of regret letters to non-selected applicants after interviews.
- Support on the assessment of our recruitment processesMission 5: Team Management:
- When required ensure supervision of HR staff for the planning of their activities, follow up on their performance and support in the development of their capacities

- Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive HR information at all times.

HR Certification preferred, or BA in HR.Experience: 1 to 2 years’ experience in recruitment or human resources management with NGOs and INGOs.Language and level: Language: Good written and spoken skills in Arabic and English.
