Store Manager
Summary: The General Manager oversees the overall operations of the restaurant
ensuring brand standards are maintained and continually improved in all areas of
operation, including product preparation and presentation, guest experience, inventory
management, recruiting, training and retention of team members and financial
accountability.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as
needed.
Maintain accountability for the success of the restaurant by making key decisions and
executing problem solving skills.
Act as a role model and demonstrate professional behavior to team as well as to
customers.
Train Managers and Team Members in product quality, customer service and
operational systems execution.
Adhere to company policies and procedures and comply with all state, local and
federal regulations.
Maintain open communication with team, vendors and BW&R support team.
Incorporates the core values and service promise into the daily operation of the
restaurant.
Manage profit & loss by following cash control procedures, maintaining inventory,
managing labor and reviewing financial reports.
Successfully integrate any new products smoothly into system, train staff properly on
use/preparation on any such objects.
Ensure company standards on equipment, facility and grounds are maintained by
using a preventative maintenance program.
Ensure local health and safety codes, and company safety and security are met.
Maintain budget and associate records, prepare payroll, pay bills and monitor
bookkeeping records.
Ensures complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing plans.
Hire, train, motivate and discipline associates to ensure restaurant is staffed to
deliver Service Promise and product quality standards.
Maintain awareness to competitive issues and uses all resources to generate sales.
Maintain financial ownership for restaurant through increased sales, short and long
term plans, and P&L statements.
Develop and empower assistant managers and associates in order to build selfsufficiency
within the restaurant team.
Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, or governmental

situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet
Explorer and Microsoft office suite (word, excel, power point)
Education/Experience:
7 to 10 years related experience and/or training. Restaurant operations experience
desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
